Hi Craig,

I have a problem with my listings... I have an XML Parse Error:

If you have a look at any of my stock pages on mattcardy.co.uk you'll see the following message.

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: http://mattcardy.co.uk/rhd_porsche.php Line Number 1, Column 603:<root><dl><dt class="model">model:</dt><dd class="model">NEW 2008 Porsche 997 GT2 Coupe</dd><dt class="colour">colour:</dt><dd class="colour">Basalt Black Metallic</dd><dt class="gearbox">gearbox:</dt><dd class="gearbox">manual</dd><dt class="mileage">mileage:</dt><dd class="mileage">0 miles</dd><dt class="details">details:</dt><dd class="details"><h2> Description</h2><p>RHD with COC, Price is net of VAT and ready for UK buyer or Export is welcome</p><h2> Features</h2><ul><li> BLACK LEATHER INTRIOR</li><li> 003 CLUBSPORT UPHOLSTERY</li><li> AUTO</li><li> AC CLIMATE CONTROL</li><li> PCM SAT/NAV & PHONE MODULES</li><li> CLUBSPORT PACKAGE INC SPORTS BUCKET SEATS</li><li> SPORT CHRONO PACK PLUS</li><li> CRUISE CONTROL</li><li> SOUND PACK PLUS</li><li> AUTO DIMMING MIRRORS</li><li> RAIN SENSOR</li><li> RED TAIL LIGHTS</li><li> GUARDS RED SEAT BELTS</li><li> WHEELS PAINTED IN EXTERIOR COLOUR</li><li> 19” ALLOYS</li><li> FLOOR MATS </li></ul></dd></dl><div class="price">£133,761</div><img src="http://www.mattcardy.co.uk/showroom/viewupdate.php?site=rhdporsche&amp;id=1" class="count" /></root>

Would you please let me know how I can fix it?

Thanks.

Check your Porsche 997 GT2 Coupe details - I suspect someone's copied and pasted from Word and it's inserted weird characters. I'd be especially suspicious of the SAT/NAV & PHONE ... the & is at column 603.

The quote in 19" ALLOYS might be odd too?

Are you using v1.8, because "&" characters were fixed in that version. If so, it could be that the car details were entered prior to that change?

Hi Craig,

Thanks for that. I'm sorry I haven't checked this forum for ages and forgot about the error until today.

That's what has happened. The muppet that does my stock list pasted it from Word. That'll be me then!

Thank you Craig, again, you show you're excellence!
