My client is not getting password emailed after adding their email address as user. Is there any changes that I need to make?

First, make sure it hasn't been marked as spam.
Incidentally, did you receive an email when you installed AutoDirector? All email is handled through the PHP mail() function. Sometimes, ISPs can restrict how that works, e.g. only addresses registered with them are permitted. Check with your ISP. You might need to knock up a small PHP script to prove whether mail() works as expected. _______________ AutoDirector administrator |

Did you manage to get a work around for this? I'm having the same problem and do not know what to do.
Thanks. |

Hi Alun,
Sorry to hear you're having problems. If you can receive email to a GMail account AutoDirector is working. I therefore suspect your client is spamming the email message. The best solution would be to ask them to unblock your messages or use a different account. Alternatively, you could get an email sent to your account then call them with the ID and password. I hope that helps. _______________ AutoDirector administrator |
