Hi Support I need help to get me started I can build websites using CS4 but am not a progarmmer and have no skills in php and msql I have set up a database in my ISP account with name "autodirectordb" and ID "auto1234" and password "auto5678" Using setup failed and I need to change password to auto1234@localhost by using MySQL command I do not know how to do this? My objective is to set up a trail demo to show my client and then to purchase it, whivch I am keen to do as it is just what my client is looking for.

Your hosting company should provide access to "phpmyadmin" (who are you using?) this is a helpful website front end to your hosting database, and from there you should be able to edit the passwords. I doubt you want to set it to ..@localhost however, but it may be correct.
Check the host has created the db in the name you think it has, it may have added a prefix to the name. You can see this is phpmyadmin.
Also check your autodirector.ini is referencing the hosting package correctly.
I am more than happy to help you, but would really consider charging. I can take a paypal payment, but would want £25 to over the time it will take to get you a running car system.

Incidentally, see section 2 of the AutoDirector troubleshooting page. I suspect that will be your database problem, rather than the password. _______________ AutoDirector administrator
